TEEN PARENTS AND EDUCATORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!
Create an awareness of reading opportunities throughout the day in order to gain a deeper understanding of optimizing children’s language development and its relationship to their thinking through books. Learn ways to encourage conversation to support children’s vocabulary development while acquiring strategies for developing children’s listening and comprehension skills. We will also examine ways to promote children’s language and thinking through good literature. In addition: Parents will engage in activities to connect practical application to what we discuss.
