Children's Trust Fund will offer a series of free, half-day workshops designed for a wide range of community professionals who work with families with infants and young children. These workshops will provide participants with an understanding of SBS including its definition, causes and consequences.
Participants also will learn methods to engage parents and other caregivers in strength-based discussions related to understanding and responding effectively to infant crying and to calming themselves in situations when they may be frustrated or overwhelmed with an infant's crying.
Attendance at this workshop is free! A continental breakfast will be served.
All workshops will be held 9 a.m. to noon.
